Madeira
The Autonomous Region of Madeira is located in the Atlantic Ocean about 1.30h flight to Lisbon. Contituída is a main island, Madeira, and a second island, Porto Santo. There are also 'deserted Islands and the Islands Wild. These islands are characterized by unique microclimates. While in Ponta do Sol and Calheta, the sun shines more intensely but with more wind, in turn, Funchal also with much sun, does not have much wind protection due to the mountains. The humidity is moderate and the average temperatures are mild.

Further west, are three more wonders characterized by its rocky beaches, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol and Calheta.
The northern island of Madeira, be sure to visit the Aquarium of Madeira or dive in volcanic pools of Porto Moniz.
