There are about 40 years, Marshall McLuhan predicted that television would come in the era of "global village". Today, with the satellites and all other technologies that facilitate the transmission of images to the four corners of the world, that vision has never been so close to us. We live increasingly in the same "information society" in which the television, our most powerful means of communication is a key element.
