Father's Day
March 19
The Father's Day is celebrated on 19 March
Why pipeline today?
Because this is the day of S. Joseph, the father of Jesus. Thus there is a special tribute to all parents in the world.
S. Joseph, husband of Mary, was carpenter and lived in the town of Nazareth in Galilee. Apparently, it was a good man and has agreed to be the father of Jesus.
His story is told in the Bible.
The cult of St. Joseph began in the ninth century.
It's unclear on what date Joseph was born or died, but Pope Gregory XV in 1621, said the date of March 19 as of his death.
And that was to be your day!
It is also the patron saint (guard) of the carpenters, the job I had.
